POSITION: Accounting Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:  CND is seeking an enthusiastic individual that will oversee general accounting functions, including supervision of assigned staff to maintain our organizations assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditures and to ensure transactions are complete, timely and accurately recorded in compliance GAAP, as well as grant / government regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.  Minimum three years of Non-Profit accounting experience required.  A minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.  Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills is required.  A high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

POSITION: Case Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:   CND is seeking a dedicated individual that will afford the opportunity to serve the adult population diagnosed with mental health and/or substance use disorders served at the outpatient treatment site.  Provide direct services as needed to consumers to evaluate needs, link to resources/services, and help in identifying stability strategies.  Advocates for consumers in a safe and culturally appropriate manner.

REQUIREMENTS:  Education: Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with one year of experience in the field of mental health and/or substance use treatment.

POSITION: Recovery Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:  CND is in search of a motivated Recovery Support Specialist to provide peer recovery support services to individuals with severe mental illness.  The Recovery Support Specialist is a person with a lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder.  This person will work with a multidisciplinary team to support the individuals with struggles pertaining to mental health, psychological trauma or substance use.  This position will afford the opportunity to empower individuals who have lived and walked the path of recovery from a lived experience to assist others in their journeys of recovery.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED.   Must have “Lived Experience” with a behavioral health diagnosis.  Certified as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred.  Minimum two years of sobriety in mental health or substance abuse or homelessness.

POSITION: Mental Health Counselor


POSITION SUMMARY: 
CND is looking for a Mental Health Counselor (MHC) that will use a psychotherapeutic method to help others by focusing on culturally competent mental health to individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health on an outpatient basis.  Diagnose and provide therapeutic counseling to individuals affected by issues of mental health, trauma and or abuse and emotional health issues.

REQUIREMENTS:  Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.  With Five (5 years of experience in counseling.  Must have an active (LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC) Independent Licensure is preferred.  At least three years assessing and diagnosing, counseling and treating mental and emotional disorders is required.

POSITION: Mental Health RN

POSITION SUMMARY: CND is searching for an enthusiastic Mental Health Nurse to provide skilled nursing services for our clients that are suffering from Serious Persistent Mental Illnesses.  Understand the needs of the patient and assist with overcoming stigmas associated with mental health disorders alongside of the client’s family.  And work to help client understand the source of his/her disorder.  Provide treatment to clients and ensure medications are correctly administered.  Serious Persistent Mental Illness is a group of severe mental health disorders as defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual used by mental health professionals to diagnose clients.

REQUIREMENTS:  Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree preferred, RN with 5 to 10 years’ experience.  Current Ohio RN license.  Experience in substance abuse field with community health experience preferred.  Sensitivity to ethnic, cultural, gender; beliefs, and behaviors.  Health assessment skills and coordination and delegation skills necessary.

POSITION: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor

POSITION SUMMARY: Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health professional will work with our Outpatient Treatment clients in a welcoming, empathic, hopeful attitude towards people with co-occurring conditions and supports a philosophy of dual recovery of addictions and mental health disorders.  Engages and welcomes clients in ways that will convey respect for diversity in a culturally appropriate way.  Demonstrates high professional/ethical standards and works well with others as part of the treatment team.  Understand and provide a therapeutic trauma-informed approach by being motivating and encouraging to clients who take responsibility for their lives while in recovery.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with Three (3) years of experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment with CDCA, LCDC II, LPC or LSW license, or High school diploma or equivalent with LCDCII, LCDC III, or comparable license or certification.  Independent license preferred. Must be knowledgeable of substance abuse trends, 12 step support systems and ASAM criteria for treatment.  For providing Mental Health services you must have a minimum of an LPC or LSW.

POSITION: APPS Intervention Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: Intervention Specialist will work in our Applications, for Purpose, Pride and Success (APPS) department as a liaison between youth, parents and teachers providing high-risk youth with strategies for violence intervention and crisis response actions that include responding to specific gang-related confrontation, mediating and diffusing hostile tensions, and promoting conflict resolution and peace by building activities in the community and surrounding neighborhoods. These individuals will work with primarily youth and young adults ages 14-23.

REQUIREMENTS:  A Bachelor’s degree in the social/behavioral sciences or related field is preferred, or a high school diploma or equivalent with three years of professional experience in the social service field.  Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Must possess a basic understanding of violence intervention and gang awareness and its related problems.  Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to considerable (3 – 5 years) full-time employment in progressively responsible counseling or social services, particularly involving youth and gang remediation activity.

POSITION: MAT Nurse

POSITION SUMMARY:The Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) team nurse provides skilled nursing services to opioid dependent patients and their significant support systems. Sound clinical judgment in decision making. Patient care assessment, understand patient care goals as voiced by the patient, making the patient a major part of his/her treatment and recovery. Provide advocacy as needed to ensure patient knows and understands his/her rights.Help patient become independent by meeting treatment goals. Document and communicate nursing care to others on treatment team. Provide education for patients and/or families. Meets documentation requirements in the patient record.The MAT team nurse performs ongoing assessment, intakes, evaluations, triage, teaching, inductions, stabilizations, and monitoring of patients in MAT treatment program. Assist in the primary care of patients within the MAT treatment program, and facilitate support and services provided at other settings. Collaborates with team members within the organization, outside referral sites, and with providers/staff from addiction /healthcare settings throughout the County and State.

REQUIREMENTS:Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree preferred, RN with 5 to 10 years’ experience. Current Ohio RN license. Experience in substance abuse field with community health experience preferred. Ability to delegate tasks to other team members.Health assessment skills and coordination and delegation skills necessary.
